Martine is a Buddhist meditation teacher and author of several books including: "Meditation for Life," "Women in Korean Zen," 'Let Go - a Buddhist guide of breaking free of habits.' From a young age she wanted to change the world. Reading the "Dhammapada" was a turning point and instead of trying to change the world she decided to change herself. She went hitchhiking to India to learn meditating and ended up in a Korean buddhist Monastery where she decided to become a nun. She stayed there for 10 years under the guidance of Master Kusan Sumin exploring "hwadus" and meditating.

She is a spiritual teacher in the lineage of Adyashanti. Born with a genetic kidney disease, her condition played a big part in her awakening and in the overcoming of her suffering. She emphasizes the importance of Meditation to calm the nervous system. This is an important aspect for full Embodiment to occur. In 1998 she became a student of Adyashanti and was taken by surprise when in 2000 he asked her to share the Dharma. She is not a teacher who talks about truth only in the sense of emptiness: EMBODIMENT of the Silence. Living our Humanity in the marketplace is her teaching.

Talks about his life and his work.
